The Villa Media on Viehhofstraße was part of the former Elberfeld cattle and slaughterhouse. The complex was built between 1913 and 1915 and, in addition to the former stock exchange and restaurant, it now houses seminar rooms and a children's daycare center and is a popular business location. In 2019, former German Chancellor Angela Merkel visited Villa Media to mark the 70th anniversary of the Basic Law of the Federal Republic of Germany (Photographer: DE, 2025).
