Wall Art "motion"
Wall Art "motion"
cam/b ® - the photo brothers
A tribute to the city’s unstoppable momentum, this photograph perfectly captures the contrast between futuristic architecture and vibrant nature. The image shows a state-of-the-art train streaking directly over the Ohligsmühle suspension railway station in dynamic motion blur. The station itself is a true architectural highlight in the Elberfeld district: Designed by Wuppertal architect Prof. Wolfgang Rathke and opened in 1982 (as a modern successor to the pre-war Alexanderbrücke station, which was destroyed during the war), it captivates with its striking, prism-like glass structure. The station’s glass geometry spectacularly captures the daylight and, together with the dense, wild greenery in the foreground, creates a unique urban backdrop (Photographer: Dirk Eichler, 2025).
