Wall Art "generation 72"
Wall Art "generation 72"
cam/b ® - the photo brothers
The mural “Generation 72” takes viewers on a journey through time above the rooftops of the valley. To mark this major anniversary year, this photograph features the ultra-modern Generation 15 tram in the unmistakable retro color scheme of gentian blue and rich orange from the legendary GTW 72 - the design that has shaped the cityscape for generations.
The composition captivates with its cinematic, urban aesthetic: the high-contrast color scheme of the railcar cuts through the steel framework of the station, flanked by striking architectural geometries and the historic brick backdrop in the distance. An extremely expressive work of art that masterfully captures Wuppertal’s unmistakable DNA - its rugged industrial charm and vibrant pop art nostalgia (Photographer: Dirk Eichler, 2026).
