The Polo und Genuss Festival took place in Willich for the second time. The demands placed on this event of top-class professional sport, culinary delicacies and premium exhibitors were high - and Willich delivered!!
With cam/b - the photo brothers, a Wuppertal-based company was also represented at the festival. There, visitors were able to find out about the new special edition of the Art Edition 125 Years of the Wuppertal Suspension Railway as well as many other beautiful images from the startup's extensive portfolio of high-quality wall art. The sharpness and detail of the individual motifs of the premium Alu-Dibond prints were impressive. “What's more, all of our pictures and packaging materials are always made in Germany!” says Dirk Eichler, owner of cam/b.
As a visitor or exhibitor at this festival, you were right in the middle of the action: only a narrow passageway and security area separated the individual visitor seats and pagodas from the pitch. This meant that you could experience the matches of the 8 teams up close and share in the excitement! Over two weekends, there was not only an exciting polo match, but visitors could also get everything their hearts desired from the numerous food trucks and drinks stands: Fries, crispy pancakes, waffles, ice cream, and of course: polo burgers! Plus cocoa, ice cream, various types of wine, soft drinks, beer and cocktails - personally mixed by Nic Shanker and his team.
In addition to the sporting and culinary part, visitors could also visit the numerous other exhibitor pagodas and obtain comprehensive information about products and services from the fields of art, health, real estate, outdoor kitchens, fashion and design.
Two charitable organizations, Assistenzhunde Helfende Pfoten gGmbH and the steps for children foundation, were also on hand to provide information about their difficult but important work.
An event with exciting polo matches, interesting insights and culinary highlights! The next Polo and Pleasure Festival will take place from June 12 o 21, 2026 again on the grounds of the Rhein Polo Club Düsseldorf e.V.
