Unter der Decke

With his work “Unter der Decke” (Under the Ceiling), Manuel Heywinkel secured 4th place in the public voting for the prestigious SPC PHOTO AWARD in Cologne. The expressive black-and-white motif impressed visitors with its graphic clarity and unusual perspective.

“Unter der Decke” (Under the Ceiling) conveys an abstract perception and a sense of infinity. Deliberately minimalistic, it allows the viewer to see something different depending on their imagination: the silhouette of a star or a view through a tunnel of light onto an alien planet. The viewer's perception also changes depending on how the light falls on this matte aluminum Dibond wall picture: simply fascinating!

The Swiss Photo Club (SPC) has grown from its Swiss roots to become a central international platform for photography enthusiasts. The organization specifically targets both amateur and professional photographers, offering them a stage to present their work to the public.
