Photo art exchange: Premium partner prints
Dirk EichlerWuppertal is not only our home, but also a recurring meeting place for great photographic art. Recently, it was that time again: we met with two of our valued premium partners in the city of the suspension railway.
A special moment was in store at the Fotoforum Wuppertal photo exhibition in the Christuskirche (the “Galerie im Turm”). We had the honor of surprising two of our artists in person with their own works as high-quality aluminum Dibond prints in 30 x 20 cm format. There were two real highlights from our collection to admire:
Manuel Heywinkel received his work “Infinity”—a composition that captivates with its fascinating depth and clear lines.
Andreas Kretzschmar was delighted with his print “crooked lantern,” a motif that masterfully shows how he transforms everyday scenes into minimalist art.
Talking shop over pizza and currywurst
After this concentrated dose of inspiration, we ended the day in style. Over a leisurely dinner of pizza and currywurst, we talked shop for a long time about photography, printing technology, and upcoming projects in the cam/b Premium Partner Edition.
It is always a privilege to see how our passion for high-quality prints completes the artists' visions.
Taking the group photo outdoors was a real challenge that day—typical Bergisch weather! It rained heavily, but that was no problem at all for the pictures. This is one of the biggest advantages of aluminum Dibond: the material is extremely robust and completely waterproof. While we quickly returned to dry ground, the prints easily passed the “endurance test.”

The handover of the two works was also a first for us in the context of our cooperation. At cam/b, we value collaboration on equal terms: each of our premium partners receives a free original print of one of their works in 30 x 20 cm format on aluminum Dibond as part of their admission. This transforms the digital file into a genuine piece of craftsmanship that can be touched and felt.
