Christian Horenkamp and the silence of Osaka

Christian Horenkamp, who has been part of our Premium Partners since July 2025, has a special flair for balancing urban dynamism and meditative tranquility. Based in Bielefeld, he is often drawn to distant places for his photographs – always in search of “that” moment that tells a story. His work in street and landscape photography is characterized by precise lighting and an often mystical atmosphere.

The chosen work: "shitennoji Temple"

For his personal premium copy on aluminum Dibond, Christian chose one of his own masterpieces: Shitennoji Temple. This motif captures Japan in its most tranquil form. It shows a traditional pagoda in Osaka, framed by autumn foliage and bathed in warm, soft light. It is an image that invites the viewer to pause for a moment and block out the noise of the world. The fine structures of the architecture and the gentle color gradients of the sky are particularly brilliantly highlighted on the high-quality aluminum Dibond.
