The whole of Wuppertal is caught up in suspension railway fever! Just in time for March 1, the historic date of the official maiden voyage 125 years ago, our city is celebrating the anniversary of its world-famous landmark.

The anniversary weekend on February 28 and March 1 invites you to experience the history of our city up close. In keeping with the official maiden voyage 125 years ago, Wuppertal's public utility company is allowing all passengers to use the suspension railway free of charge on these two days. It's the perfect opportunity to rediscover familiar stations from a whole new perspective.

While the official public celebration in late summer will be the next highlight in the event calendar, we at cam/b® have already created a lasting monument to this anniversary year.
