Christian Horenkamp, cam/b ® Premium Partner since July 2025, comes from the lively city of Bielefeld in the heart of East Westphalia. This is where he starts his photographic journeys around the world, but he never ceases to be inspired by the local landscapes and urban scenes of his region.

"Photography is more than just a hobby for me—it's my way of seeing and interpreting the world. Through traveling, I discovered my great passion for photography. Every new city, every untouched landscape, and every encounter is an inspiration and an opportunity to capture unique moments."

Christian Horenkamp specializes in two genres that never cease to fascinate him: authentic and spontaneous street photography, which captures the pulse of urban life, and breathtaking landscape photography, which showcases the overwhelming beauty of nature in all its facets.

His travel destinations are diverse, but his eye for special details and unique perspectives always remains the same. Whether near or far, his goal is always to capture the highlights of our world through his lens and show them in all their splendor and uniqueness.

Back in Bielefeld, he reviews and edits his photos, always searching for the perfect expression of what he has experienced and felt. “I am convinced that the diversity of the places and cultures I visit gives my photos a special range of motifs and perspectives—an enrichment for anyone who wants to discover the world through photos,” says Christian Horenkamp.

His passion for photography is inextricably linked to his love of travel. Discovering the world and being able to capture the unique moments and places he sees forever has completely captivated him. For him, photography is the perfect tool for documenting his adventures and sharing them with others.

Street photography captures the pulsating life and unexpected moments in urban environments, while landscape photography allows him to find peace and appreciate the overwhelming beauty of nature.

TChristian Horenkamp's faithful companion on all his travels is the Sony Alpha 6000. It is the perfect partner for his style: compact, versatile, and always ready for the next shot. To continuously improve his skills, he not only learns from tutorials on YouTube and exchanges on social media, but above all through practical experience. “Photo walks and constantly trying out new techniques and perspectives are the key to development for me,” says Christian Horenkamp.

"My goal is to capture the highlights and sights of our world in their best light. I want to inspire people to see the beauty of our planet and perhaps want to explore new places themselves. Every picture should be a highlight—a moment of silence, joy, or pure wonder, frozen in time."
