Review: Polo und Genuss Festival 2025

Dirk Eichler

What an incredible event! Even though we have already had many unique experiences at our previous exhibitions, the Polo und Genuss Festival location: directly on the grounds of the Rhein Polo Club Düsseldorf e.V. in Willich you were right in the middle of the action, with only a narrow passageway and security area separating the individual pagodas from the pitch.

This meant that you could experience the entire game up close from the stand. Simply fascinating!

While a total of 8 teams in two groups gave their all over two weekends for a thrilling polo match, visitors were able to stock up on everything their hearts desired at the numerous food trucks and drinks stands. In addition to fantastic fries and crispy baked pancakes, there were also tasty waffles with cherries and fluffy ice cream in several flavors.  The highlight from our team, however, was the polo burger - how could it be otherwise!

Cocoa with cream or ice cream, various types of wine, soft drinks and beer were also a refreshing way to cool down in outside temperatures of over 30 degrees. Plus incomparable cocktails - personally mixed with passion by Nic Shanker and his team.

At our booth, visitors and guests had the choice between coffee, a fantastic iced tea and various soft drinks.

This was a relaxed way to find out about our new ART EDITION and many beautiful pictures from our WALL ART collection.

A real eye-catcher was our 1.20 m picture of the Düsseldorf Rhine Tower, printed in a soft blue tone with lots of details!

Speaking of details: the sharpness and fineness of the individual motifs on the perfect ALU-DIBOND direct print impressed our visitors time and time again - and only with our ALU-DIBOND direct print can individual details of the photographs even be felt. For many, this was a completely new experience!

However, the great pictures of our premium partners were of particular interest, and on the second weekend one of the motifs could even be viewed in person at the stand: The Boss!
In general, the great support of our Premium Partners was a highlight of this outstanding event - and when our photographers were not engrossed in technical discussions about cameras, exposure times and other technical details at the stand, they headed towards the pitch to capture many beautiful moments and great sporting moments with their cameras.

In terms of photography alone, the Polo und Genuss Festival 2025 was a complete success: with over 4000 shots from four different cameras, there was also a lot to sift through, sort and edit in retrospect. The result was a lot of great, exciting sports motifs, documentary shots and emotional moments. You can find some of the best pictures and videos on our official Instagram account.

Of course, we were not the only exhibitors at the Polo and Pleasure Festival: Many excellent providers of products and services from the fields of art, health, real estate, outdoor kitchens, fashion and design presented their products and services here.

With Assistenzhunde Helfende Pfoten gGmbH and the steps for children foundation, there were also two great charitable organizations on site that do really great work - our sincere respect!

And car enthusiasts also got their money's worth: in addition to the Land Rover exhibition with some premium models, visitors were able to take a look at the Forze VIII, a real hydrogen-powered racing car. Incidentally, the Forze student team from Delft University presented the first hydrogen-elctric racing car back in July 2008.

The current model already reaches 210 km/h and can go from 0 to 100 in under 4 seconds - and that is less than the BRABUS 850, which still needs 4.1 seconds.

Speaking of speed: we were also able to demonstrate this by having our photographs of the Polo Games taken on the first weekend edited and printed and presented five working days later on the final weekend.

Conclusion: A more than successful event with many extraordinary moments, fantastic and exciting polo matches, interesting insights and culinary highlights! Plus lots of great conversations with customers, visitors and exhibitors - thanks to everyone who visited us at our stand during these six days despite the scorching heat!

By the way, the next Polo und Genuss Festival will take place from June 12 to 21, 2026 - of course again at the Rhein Polo Club Düsseldorf e.v. - best to make a note of it!
