Happy holidays
Timo EichlerThe festive holidays are just around the corner. According to tradition, the origin of the festival, which is celebrated by many people around the world every year, stems from the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem. The festive season doesn't actually begin until 25 December, but the celebrations usually start on the evening before, Christmas Eve.
The church in Rome celebrated Christmas as early as 336 AD - and it was recorded in writing in 354 AD.
Today, Christmas is usually celebrated with family or friends and there are usually presents for each other.
But whether you spend the festive season alone, with your family or with friends, we wish you a peaceful and reflective holiday season!
