125 years of the Wuppertal Suspension Railway
Dirk EichlerThe Wuppertal suspension railway - world-famous and a listed monument since 1997 - transports over 80,000 people through the valley every day.

An impressive means of transportation, and has been since it opened in 1901. The operating length is over 13 km, with 20 stations and two depots at the end of each line.
In 2026, the suspension railroad will be 125 years old - a special occasion for us to honor our landmark! We are therefore currently working on a special edition of the ART EDITION which will be available in just a few weeks!
We don't want to reveal any more at this point, so stay tuned and check our store and magazine often!
You can also follow us on our Instagram account to make sure you don't miss any new stories - you will also find a current video “Behind the scenes” of this exciting mega project!
